Kar's Nuts Maintenance Technician – Midnight Shift APPLY NOW

Full Job Description

Seeking a skilled maintenance technician to work in our food manufacturing facility, installing, maintaining, upgrading and repairing our manufacturing equipment on our midnight shift (11pm-7am). Our snacks factory is located at 1200 E 14 Mile Road Madison Heights MI 48071.

Qualified candidates must be willing and able to work daily overtime as well as Saturday and Sunday as needed.

The starting pay rate is  $26.00 per hour  plus shift premium.

Responsibilities include:

• Complete preventive maintenance as scheduled by Maintenance Manager
• Complete daily log and preventive maintenance in our computerized maintenance management system (MEX)
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment

Qualifications include:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience
• Strong electrical aptitude and experience preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Effective troubleshooting and problem solving skills a must
• PLC experience preferred
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Frequent bending, lifting and climbing required
• Must be able to obtain a lift truck license
