We have an opening for a new role at Second Nature Brands, Trade Planning & Category Analyst. Reporting to the Director of Customer Marketing, the Trade Planning & Category Analyst will be an important member of the Customer Management team in our fast-paced, high growth and customer-centric environment. We are on a mission to grow Second Nature Brands 4x from $250MM to $1+B in the next 5 years, organically and through M&A. This is a hybrid position that can be remote with travel to the Madison Heights, MI headquarters several days a month.

Trade Planning & Category Analyst for Second Nature Brands essential duties and responsibilities include:

· Manage and maintain all reporting, backend system management & setup, and monthly reconciliation for TPM tool Cresicor

· Monitor all planned Cresicor events to ensure DSMP guidelines are followed

· Collaborate with customer management team and sales agency partners to ensure promotional plans represent accurate volume forecasts and all customer promotional spending liability is loaded correctly to drive correct accruals with finance

· Review deduction balances monthly for timely resolution and reconciliation against planned trade liability

· Participate in monthly financial demand planning reviews with customer management team to ensure plans are on track to meet annual trade & sales budgets

· Lead trade promotion analytics with customer management and broker teams to provide additional insights into trade and promotional efficiencies

· Assist Senior Category Manager with maintaining and updating monthly IRI toolkit reports and providing ad hoc analysis to the customer management team as it relates to IRI requests

· Maintain customer hierarchy and item hierarchy in business reporting tool Catalyst

Qualifications and experience:

· Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance

· 2+ years’ CPG experience in customer management, finance, or trade analytics roles

· Detail oriented with strong financial (analysis), forecasting and budgeting skills

· Demonstrated prior success in achieving results by influencing cross functional teams

· Proven ability to apply analytical thinking to solve complex problems, comfortable with ambiguity

· Strong knowledge of Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI)

· Advanced Excel skills required, and Power BI experience preferred
